And when I got a copy of Casting Crowns‘ latest CD earlier this summer, I knew right away that I’d love to share it with the internets.
Because I think that many of us know that Casting Crowns can offer up some Christian Power Ballad Gold like nobody’s business.

My favorite is hands down “Somewhere in the Middle”. And I love, love, love that Mark backs up all his songs with scripture and tells the background info about each one. I love knowing how these songs came to be.

I’ve become acquainted with this band because of some good friends of ours. Based on the thirty second snippets, I think my favorite song would be “The Word is Alive.”
Just discovered Casting Crowns this summer. Now, I listen to them every single day.

All of Casting Crowns is my favorite. They are AWESOME in concert!! So far, I love EAST TO WEST. I just love the line “from one nail scarred hand to the other”

Love all of them but “Prayer For A Friend” hooked me. I love the sound of just the acoustical guitar with singing. And of course it made me think of Especially Heather. Just the short snippet of the song is too beautiful for words. I love these guys!

I loooove Casting Crowns. Their hometown is just about an hour south of me, so we’ve been listening to the Casting Crowns for quite awhile now. I loved East to West and The Word Is Alive. I believe it is a tie.

East to West is my favorite. I just bought the cd myself Saturday, so you don’t have to enter me in the drawing (although I’d probably win since I don’t need it, huh?), but just wanted you to know that’s what I listened to on my way in this morning. The first song on the cd is pretty kicking, too. I’m going to see them in concert October 18th. It’s my second time and boy, do they put on a worship time! Love them!
