Have I ever told y’all that I love me some cheese fries?
Well, I do. I love me some cheese fries.
And I especially love the cheese fries from Outback. Because they are some potato-y, bacon-y, cheese-y, dipped in Ranch dressing-y deliciousness.
And since I am a fan of irony, I like to order them with a side salad and a diet Coke.
Plus, I always split the cheese fries with my husband, so hello? PORTION CONTROL.

Wow, we must all be desparate for a night out!!! My husband’s favorite are the lamb chops. I just love a good steak, but I really love their salad. I can not explain it, they just have a way of making something good for you taste good too. Or maybe it’s just all the bread I eat with it!

Love, Love, Love the victoria’s steak. Just the right size….. but I don’t eat a lot of red meat, so I feel about sick for a day afterwards. But SOOOO worth it!!!

We lived in Australia for 6 years and the Ozzies wanted to know what was up with Americans and ‘Outback’. Did we really think that was what Australia was like?
One guy told us after a visit to the USA that the only similarity he saw between an authentic Australian restaurant and ‘Outback’ was that they both served food!
That aside, I love Outback. My daughter used to waitress there, too.

LOVE me the Outback Special medium rare with the Blue Cheese Chopped Salad (you MUST try this…doesn’t look so appetizing but MMMMM–it’s got those spicy glazed pecans in it!) and French Onion Soup. Yes, I smell like a man when I’m done, but my husband gets the Queensland Salad (YES, AS HIS ENTREE) so I guess it evens out! He’s normally a meat and potatoes kind of guy but there’s somethin’ about that salad.

I love the bloomin onion & grilled shrimp on the barbie appetizers, and I love the Wahalla Pasta or Alice Springs Chicken for entrees. I’ve never tried the cheese fries, but if I win I promise I will order them :)

Alice Springs ROCKS. Their salads are great, too. I’d be perfectly happy with cheese fries any day of the week, too.
Although the Cheese Fries are a good start, I always order the Filet Grillers dinner. Yum!

who doesn’t love the cheese fries?!? they are fantabulous. not to mention the bloomin onion, coconut shrimp and just about everything else. (not sure they have anything i don’t like!) my favorite favorite favorite thing of all though is their layered chocolate cake. i’m not sure what it’s called (i live in mexico and have only had it at the outback here), but it’s quite possibly the most divine thing i’ve eaten in the year and a half that i’ve lived here!

My favorite Outback item is the Towoomba pasta. It’s so yummy. Love the blooming onion too, and the sauce.
I usually get the Outback Special, Hubs gets the grilled chicken. We always split the cheese fries!
I get a different steak every time, I think. BUT, I ALWAYS get and LOVE the bleu chopped salad. YUM. And the bloomin’onion…even if it does make me regret it later.

I just discovered the beauty of the Hearts of Gold chicken. Grilled chicken smothered in a creamy sauce with artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes. At first I wasn’t so sure but I ordered it anyway. OH NO! I was never the same again.
My husband and I always share the outback special with an extra cup of Walkabout Soup… because it is my fav. I also love their salads and their bread!! YUMMY!!! Oh, and the bloomin’ onion!!!
I love Outback, but it’s been a while for us! I love the Caesar Salad and that great brown bread (I know – I’ve just chosen the free things!).

The Cheese Fries (extra cheese and ranch dressing please) to start. Followed by a House Salad with more ranch dressing Alice Springs Chicken and a huge Sweet Potato with about 5 glasses of sweet Ice Tea with lemon. yummy!

Are you implying that I’m not supposed to? LOL My daughter and son-in-law turned me on to the cheese fries in all their artery-clogging goodness! Yummy … now you’ve made me drool. Time to call DH and tell him we’re having dinner at the Outback tonight!
Okay. My name is A- and I’ve never been to Outback. So sorry. Hubs has digestive problems and the idea of eating a steak, well just isn’t my idea of fun. But! I did read over the suggested menu and found that Alice Springs Chicken sounds perfectly lovely. I don’t even think that it would give me the run-me-to-the-hospital-quick heartburn that the Bloomin’ Onion would. Oh sweet lovin’ Lord, that would kill me.
OOOOhhhhh I love me some Outback – the Bloomin Onion is wonderful and their ceaser salad is out of this world!!

I ALWAYS order the Aussie Cheese Fries complete with that spicy ranch. Love that stuff. I could drink that ranch dressing. Yum! Yum! And I order it with a regular coke. And when I’m through with that I’ll have a Chocolate Thunder from Down Under, thank you very much.
