Have I ever told y’all that I love me some cheese fries?
Well, I do. I love me some cheese fries.
And I especially love the cheese fries from Outback. Because they are some potato-y, bacon-y, cheese-y, dipped in Ranch dressing-y deliciousness.
And since I am a fan of irony, I like to order them with a side salad and a diet Coke.
Plus, I always split the cheese fries with my husband, so hello? PORTION CONTROL.

Oh my! Yes, the cheese fries! Our favorite app! I used to LOVE their clam chowder, but sadly, they no longer carry it. Currently I’m stuck on the Toowoomba Pasta. I know, I know. Who goes to a steakhouse to order pasta??

I LOVE Outback!! I always order the sirloin, baked potato and salad, EXTRA croutons, blue cheese dressing! I could live on those croutons. When I was pregnant I would go in there and just get croutons to go.
Let’s see….I would have to say the Bloomin’ Onion, but I also love the cheese fries, the Alice Springs chicken, the Outback Special, and the sweet potatoes with absolutely NO nutrional value whatsoever. But my oh my are they good!
I really have to pick only one??? Okay. The bloomin’ Onion is my all time favorite. Followed closely by Gold Coast Coconut Shrimp. Yup!!! Pick me!! Pick me!!

I said in my previous comment that the onion blossom was my fav, but I also love the cheese fries, Alice Springs chicken, Outback Special and the sweet potatoes with absolutely no nutritional value. First time to comment, but I love me some Outback! I have recently discovered their tilapia…I think they call it Hearts of Gold. Artichokes and sundried tomatoes in a creamy alfredo sauce…delicous!
The wings on the appetizer menu. And the bloomin’ onion! They always have really fresh salads, too! Yummy!

I like the salmon, sweet potatoes and salad. It’s bonzer.
My hubby would go for the Baby Back ribs, but I’m in an appetizer or steak mood. So pretty much any of the steaks with sweet potatoes and/or the cheese fries, bloomin’ onion, or spinach-artichoke dip!

I am ashamed to admit I have NEVER eaten at Outback. Yes, there is one near, but my husband says I am too fat. HaHa! just kidding.

I personally love the Creamy Onion Soup, not French Onion, although I love that too. But never seem to go on the days they have it. The server was nice enough one time to go to the back and find me some. That was great! Blessings, Shay

I absolutely love Outback’s Chopped Salad. Which, incidentally, they have moved down the menu until it is almost impossible to find among the random sides. But it is my favorite salad anywhere with it’s yummy combination of flavors like blue cheese crumbles and cinnamon pecans. And it only costs a few dollars.
OUTBACK?!? i’m not picky. just give me something that has “steak” in the title and i’m a happy camper.
The bread. It’s so soft and warm and just sends me into a moaning frenzy.

I’m a vegetarian, but dh loves the steak (don’t ask me which one) & I actually REALLY like their baked potatoes, so I’m a “cheap date” there, but it’s yummy & a nice treat for my dh (since I’m a lifelong vegetarian & haven’t the foggiest idea how to cook meat and shudder at the thought of even trying, so he doesn’t get such things at home LOL).
Oh, Alice Springs Chicken and a salad with their delicious dressing. Or in Wilmington they had Crab Cakes on the menu – mmmm. And their baked potatoes are tasty too!
I like the Bloomin’ Onion though we don’t always order it. I also like their salads especially the croutons.

Ok, this is totally freaky, but my husband and I got Outback take-out tonight, and I am eating me some cheesy, bacon-y fries RIGHT this minute! Maybe that means I’m gonna win? :-)
I always order the Outback Special. I think it’s the best steak around and very reasonably priced. My hubby’s favorite is Alice Springs Chicken (yup. chicken in a steak place. Just plain abinormal if you ask me). I love the bloomin’ onion too, but they’re huge and a meal on their own.

Oh dear – making choices is SO hard – ’cause DH and I usually order different things so we can both taste twice as much Outback goodieness! If I were held down and forced to choose – it would be the Gold Coast Shrimp – because I love the fried, crunchy, coconuttiness with that tender sweet shrimp inside! Hmmm – followed by the current special of Slow Roasted Sirloin Medley (on top of spinach – Oh MY the tastiness of it all!).
Now my oatmeal is gonna be very disappointing,.
I like there BBQ chicken or chicken sandwich with a side salad, and Diet Coke with multiple refills :)
I have to confess that I’ve only been to Outback once, BUT I’d like to go again. The thing that I distinctly remember liking really well is the Bloomin Onion.
Cheese fries it is. First time I had ’em I said to my friend, “You may order them, but I won’t touch them… you know, greese, bacon and cheese altogether on fries?!” Then I ate most of them and took the rest home. I’m hooked…

If I’m picking what I wanted to eat, my choice would be the cheese fries or Bloomin’ Onion, without a doubt. But, since I’m into self loathing and personal torture of late — what with watching out for those carbs and all — I’d probably pick some slab of meat and a salad. Still, pick me, pick me!
Yummy! The house dressing on the salad is wonderful, but so is the steak with some grilled shrimp and mushrooms on the side.
