  11. Christmas Story.

I had to fight so hard not to pick up a reproduction of the leg lamp I found in an FYE the other day. If it had been bigger and uglier, I’d have been forced to do it.

Fabulous! Just like the Boo Mama blog!

  66. A Christmas Story is my favorite holiday movie by far.

  67. Love them all – a hard choice…..”It’s a wonderful Life” oh and “nativity” oh an “Christmas at the Kranks” oh and all of them!

  68. I would regift this camera to Valerie Hays- a 37 year old friend of ours who has 2 small children and just managed to finish law school and start her own practice. Her camera is on the fritz, and with all of their family living out of town, it makes it hard to stay in touch!

Favorite Christmas movie- Love Actually (but would really like to omit the naked people scene so I wouldn’t feel weird watching it with the fam)

  69. Charlie Brown Christmas!!!!! Love it!!!

  70. I have to say two movies.

For me and hubby: Family Man (“I choose us.”)

For the family: Home Alone (“I made my family disappear!”)

I am reminded that I need to rent Love Actually and watch it again with hubby this time– though I agree about the naked people– the movie would have been just as good without them and then I would feel better about watching it.

All of this is waaaay more information than you asked for, I realize.

    Oh and ….

PLEASE PICK ME!!! PLEASE PICK ME!!! PLEASE PICK ME!!!

My Mommy’s digital camera stopped working like a week before she flew down here for Thanksgiving. Her & my Pops live on a pretty tight budget because my Mommy can no longer work so buying a new on is out of the question. My brother & I are going to save up and buy her one but it won’t be until her birthday (September) or next Christmas. If I win, she won’t have to wait. :D

Thanks so much for doing this.

  95. Christmas Vacation is my favorite Christmas movie. Nothing funnier :).

  96. I’m not sure if it counts as a “real” Christmas Movie but I LOVE the original Home Alone.
The best part is when the tarantula crawls on Harrys face and he screams. Hillarious.
A Charlie Brown Christmas is a CLASSIC though!

  97. Elf!!!!!

  98. I love “A Child’s Christmas in Whales”! An oldie, but a goodie!!

  99. A man on BooMama! I’m feeling like I could be a little outnumbered here. I confess that I didn’t read every single one of the 993 comments, but of the ones I did read (many, many, many) I didn’t see another fella. Even in cyber-world I’m feeling real fear! How is that even possible? But I’ll brave anything for the cool camera. I’ve read many of your posts and among other great things, you are funny! – Tim Layton

YIKES…almost forgot the movie… National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, circa. 1989…my wife and I’s very first movie together!

  100. Becky Richardson says:

My first post! I watched “The Christmas Shoes” this year and I loved it!
