Be Right Back…

…just as soon as I finish these little Mother’s Day happies.

I have gotten (and am getting) the biggest kick out of going through the spreadsheet (I KNOW! I MADE A SPREADSHEET!) (well, technically Google made the spreadsheet, but I PRINTED IT) and seeing where everybody lives. It’ll probably take me another couple of days to get everything labeled and mailed, but I’m making good progress and, as an added bonus, I’m catching up on Survivor as I sign the bookplates and stuff the envelopes. WIN and WIN.

And even though I’m taking a little bloggy break until I finish everything, I’ll still be on the Twitter and the Instagram. I mean, heaven forbid I should work on a project without checking my phone every once in awhile. That would just be wrong.

Hope y’all have a great week!

  4. Karen Beymer says:

You go girl friend. Such a generous act. Blessings!

  5. This is the BEST season of Survivor in many many years. Can’t wait to get my stuff. I think (since you have a spreadsheet and all), once you are done, you should give us a recap of where everyone who requested them is from. Maybe the farthest away? And any of the funniest (with their permission) requests! Such a fun idea!

Oh, and it’s almost May! SEC baseball tourney time! Yo are so lucky to love in Bham for that reason.

Also, mark your calendar!!!! July 9-12 is the Miss MS pageant. You should REALLY come this year. You are welcome to stay with me. I can get the tickets!!!! Think about it.

  6. Thank you for being so sweet to all of us! What a happy mail day that will be!

Sophie, as a Mississippi girl now living in Virginia, I loved your book. When I found it in B&N I did a little happy dance and the saleswoman asked me if I know you…and I said “yes” then “well, not in real life” then “but we are friends on twitter”….by this time she was looking at me like I was an escapee from the local mental facility. I took a moment to compose myself and then explained that as Mississippi girls we share a sisterhood….and could I purchase my friends book, please? I have now passed the book on to my daughter and we will leave it in the beach house this summer for others to enjoy as well. Sorry I missed the bookmark but so happy for those who are getting one. Have a wonderful week!

  8. Such a great gift!!! Whatcha think about Survivor this season?

hope all you love are safe and sound, as we continue to pray

Just wanted you to know that I am loving your book. I did the actual LOL last night during the Toot chapter. My bed was actually shaking because I was trying to stifle it so as to not wake up the hubby. Thanks for the belly laugh :)

  11. My envelope arrived today, and I’m so delighted – it will be the nicest surprise for my girl! Thank you for such a special treat.

  12. Hi there! Do you use Twitter? I’d like to follow you if that would be okay.
I’m definitely enjoying your blog and look forward to new updates.

  13. Anne G says:

I sent my Mom a copy of your book and the bookplate/bookmark. I think it makes it extra special! Thank you so much!

Just finished your book in Jan. Just moved to a new state. I would love one of your bookmarks. Where could I get one or a dozen to send back to all my friends? Are you selling them?
