We have been meaning to buy an Oreck and boy could I use one. That whole area from the entryway through to the back doors has a contest pile of dirt strew throughout, from kids walking through the house. I am in desperate need of an awesome Oreck!!

The bedroom. Oreck vacums are the best!!!! I use to clean houses in Houston and I loved the homes that had a Oreck. Light weight and so easy to move around.

I would LOVE to win the Oreck XL to help me in the unending battle against the force of evil I call my ROOM OF SHAME, or the spare bedroom as some would call it. Right now it is a craft room , guest room, TV room, computer room and Lrgo Star Wars guys depository. Someday, with the Oreck’s help, I hope to transform it into a man cave for the hubby.
I have an indoor cat, a HUGE outside dog, a 2 (almost 3) year old and another baby on the way, so my whole house would benefit. However, I think probably my playroom would benefit the most, since it is where we spend a large majority of our time on the floor!
What’s up with the intellisheild. That’s cool. We have allergies here (and mold in the vacuum is more common than you’d think!).
My stairs would love the Oreck XL Ultra. My dyson is too heavy and unwieldy to effectively get the stairs (which unfortunately is where our dog likes to sleep). So, we have a permanently darker stair because I can’t vacuum it as often as needed.

Tough call. Our basement is the only carpeted room, but sweeping the entire living room / dining room has often made me wish for a better vacuum cleaner. Also, we have birds, and they molt.
OHMYGOODNESS! I can’t name just ONE room that I need this vacuum for because when I read about the “Hypo-Allergenic Filtration Eliminates 99.9% of all particles down to 0.3 Microns” I wept a little bit because my poor hubby suffers from such bad, year-round allergies and this vacuum would change his WHOLE LIFE!! Seeing as how I now have a miracle baby of 4 mos, I realize that she will be crawling soon and thus the need to remove the pounds of dog hair from the floor is of utmost importance. My entire 2nd floor is carpet and lugging the old heavy ‘big name brand’ vacuum upstairs is oh so hard on the not-as-young-as-it-used-to-be body!

Could this be an answer to our prayers?! My husband was just commenting on how crummy & stinky our old vacuum was the last time I had it out several weeks – I mean, a couple days ago. If I had a new one I’d vacuum every day…promise! My staircase would especially love a good vacuuming as that’s where our dog spends most of her time sleeping. The good news is that our carpet is the same color as the dog….the bad news is that our carpet is the same color as the dog! And what a great Bday gift this would be. Which ever room our dog, Wink, has lain in last is the room that needs the Oreck the most. This is usually the dining room. He loves to lie underneath the table. That Oreck would be handy to have. :)

Well, since my whole apartment is 800 square feet, I’d say my whole apartment would benefit! But mainly the entryway and dining room. My girls get food on the dining room carpet constantly, and the entry-way is always tracking in the winter salt! Sure would love to win!

That looks like one spiffy vacuum cleaner. I can attest that my entire home could benefit from this, but especially our family room where everyone seems to congregate and deposit, crumbs, sand, and all manner of other things. The room in my house that would most benefit from a new Oreck XL would be the master bedroom. This is because my dog spends a lot of time in there, shedding his hair and creating dust bunnies and sticking them in corners. And I could vacuum every single day and have it still get out of hand…so my once a week (or so) schedule means that my carpet always has a layer of long, black fur on top.
This is great! The room that could most use this vacuum at my house right now is my sons room since he’s had the stomach flu :( and that antimicrobial stuff might just help get that mess cleaned up!

Oh man, I need a new vacuum so badly. I have a 19 month old and a 4 month old and my living room is not just for watching tv but it’s also the play area and snack central. I’m constantly finding stray raisins and goldfish crackers. What an amazing giveaway!
