But Sister does. And Mama does. Basically any room in my house could use a good vacuuming right now but I think I would like it for the upstairs the best because it is lightweight.
I’m totally impressed that this vacuum cleaner only weighs nine pounds. Add about fifty to that and that’s what I’m pushing around.

Ok, this got my attention “the odor controlling inner bag and odor shield in the outer bag work to eliminate everything from pet odors to other stubborn smells.” first off from the Oreck home page…My hubby (wonderful patient hubby of 37yrs) he does almost all of the housework these days, because of my health…and guess where we “store” the vacumm? In his closet! We live in a small condo, and let me tell you, you must be imaginative where to “hide” things…BUT, heres why the Oreck article jumped at me, dear hubby’s closet STINKS from the vacumm! Ms. Donna, who cleans my house, would absolutely LOVE a new vacuum cleaner! One thing I negotiated with DH when I went back to work was a semi-weekly housekeeper. I would have to say my great room. The poor carpet is subjected daily to a wonderful mix of pulverized Goldfish and dog fur. Doesn’t that make you want to visit and play on the floor with my kids? : )
I really need a great vacuum like the Oreck for the persian rug in the living room, which seems to be composed of wool and chihuahua fluff. I waited until the kids left home and the cat died to get a dog and was picky about the breed. The breed books told me that chihuahuas shed very little and did not want a lot of exercise. Sounded perfect for a lady in her 50’s, right? Wrongo. I now need to learn how to spin dog fluff into yarn so I can learn to knit sweaters and give them to at least 50 of my dearest and most intimate friends. A nice vacuum would sure help with fluff collection for that ambitious project!

Well, I noticed it said “resist the growth of odor and stain causing bacteria plus powerful odor control.” That would be needed, rather badly, in the boys’ room–they are 12 and 10 now, and something is definitely making their room smell like boy.
Now why isn’t that scent ever marketed?

My living room could use a new vacuum the most – it’s the major entry into our house.
I think I need it most in the living room which is connected to the kitchen. It needs it the most because some sweet child decided that he loves to eat chips and he eats chips like a chipmunk. Just nibbles the whole way through the chip leaving crumbs in every spot he has been. Who would have thought chips could be so messy.
